Center for Infantile Nutrition

Spanish (Beginning)

This center aims to promote infantile nutrition by providing health care and tending to developmental needs. Based on participants' skills and interests, they may help with web design projects and also aid with marketing and local fundraising efforts for the center. The organization is working to procure funding in order to implement a construction project and build an interior patio and play area for the toddlers. Students that have experience or interest in fundraising or construction may assist with these projects. It is important to note that participants will be working in close proximity to a vulnerable population of infants and toddlers suffering from secondary malnutrition and other health disorders, however, direct interaction will be limited. Participants are required to complete the Global Ambassadors for Patient Safety (GAPS) workshop for eligibility. *Due to the pandemic, most health-related placements will not be available through Summer 2021.*
