Individual Remote Internships

These placements allow students access to a workplace in another country virtually and gain global perspective without traveling abroad. Students will be placed in an individual placement with a company located in Australia, Spain, Vietnam, or Peru and given a project to complete over the duration of their internship.

About the Location

The Global Remote Internship Program provides students with the unique opportunity to gain practical 21st century skills, industry, connections, and international business experience through project-based learning.

Students will participate in either a team-based placement, facilitated by a Professional Mentor, or an individual placement. In all cases, participants will work remotely from their own home and still gain valuable international experience.

Academic Credit

Academic Credit through University of South Florida

ISA Internships has partnered with the University of South Florida (USF) to offer a U.S. transcript and award 6 academic credits for ISA Internships set-date, 8-week programs and 4 credits for the 16-week part-time program. Credit awarded will be based on the successful completion of written academic assignments, evidence of reflective learning, and an evaluation from your host organization supervisor. The additional cost of academic credit is $375, and includes a transcript with an A-F letter grade from USF.  

In order to be eligible for transfer credit from USF, participants must be full-time students who have completed at least 30 credit hours, or recent graduates from a bachelor degree program. Participants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Please note that some placements may have more stringent eligibility requirements.
